I rode my moped out to Kampot to photograph the nights catch being brought in as the sun rose.The fishermen’s families were waiting on the shore for them, whilst the women began trading the fish the men sat alone or with their children to relax on the prow of their boats. I began from a distance with the long lens (Nikon 70-200mm F/2.8) and as I became comfortable got closer in amongst the action, as the baskets of fish and crab were passed down from the boats to the shore.
