From Dubrovnik we caught a bus across the border to Montenegro, (the name means Black Mountain). We spent 4 days on the shore of Lake Kotor, technically it is not a lake but a gulf because it is linked to the Adriatic Sea. We hired a car upon arrival in Kotor, and it was essential for getting around the remote parts of this stunning region.
